This amazingly large work of art is expertly hand carved from one sold Mammoth tusk, and depicts a number of protective foo lions. According to Chinese Mythology, the Lion of Foo is one of the most revered subjects fund. It is said to protect the home, and keep all its residents safe. The Foo Lions were found in stone and kept outside to guard the Buddhist temple.
