NOTE Mr. Platt used photography, acrylics and oil to create art. He is best known for his detailed pen and ink drawings of many of Charleston's historic venues. His work has been exhibited at Piccolo Spoleto and the annual Flowertown Festival in Summerville.
Mr. Platt was a member of the Gibbs Art Gallery, Carolina Art Association, League of Charleston Artists and the Ashley Artists Association. He served on the board of directors and as vice president of the Charleston Artist Guild. He was a past member of the East Cooper Arts & Crafts Association, the Summerville Artists Guild, the South Carolina Artists Guild and the Paint and Palette Limited
