Late Qianlong (1736-1795). The body containing an oval medallion painted in grisaille with figures and a building in a landscape within a raised iron red and gilt cartouche. Also having a raised husk swag, a radiating foliate foot on a faux marble base. Reported to be one of a pair belonging to the Winthrop family, descendants of the Colonial Governor.
